Wednesday Fun #55- Breakfast for dinner?

I was making up the grocery list/menu plan the other day and asked the husband how he felt about Breakfast for dinner. He informed me that Breakfast at dinner time can only be Eggs Benedict. (which I have never made in my life) apparently, all other options of breakfast food are out. He's weird.
Do you do breakfast at dinnertime? We usually don't but I was thinking it would be a good way to shake up the routine, but still be fairly fast and easy. What is your opinion?

Your husband IS weird! :)

I never think to do breakfast for supper, but consider it a great idea.

We've been doing brunch-y lunches on Sundays for the last few months & love it. It gives us a chance to have pancakes, waffles, French toast, bacon, sausage... all the yummy breakfast foods there's just not time for on normal mornings.

We often do egg sandwiches...fast and easy.

Mmmm, eggs benedict. If only I didn't fail so miserably at poaching eggs!

Since I don't like breakfast food in the morning, as Puck says, we do egg sandwiches for supper fairly often, but that's about it. I sometimes think, "mmm, french toast" around suppertime, but never when we have a good crusty loaf of bread at hand. I certainly have no moral opposition to breakfast food at suppertime though.

Your husband is odd, and nothing like his brother.

We do it as a time/money saver with some regularlity. Hot cereal (good for AJD's touchy tummy), hash, eggs, you name it, we do it. It helps that it is his favorite meal, and I don't actually like breakfast much right at breakfast time.

I love breakfast for dinner every once in a while. Usually it's a last resort because I don't have anything else in the house to make, but I'm always glad I did it.

Omlets are great for dinner, because you can add just about anything to them, of course. And I think pancakes are great for dinner as well, because you can make the savory with herbs rather than sweet with fruit. Yummy! :)
