Lots in the box this week, even if no blues or purples. I do need to issue a correction from last week though. You know those melons? Well, the most oblong one is really a spaghetti squash, which I'd never had before. It was nice. I did have fears when I was baking it whole, though, that we were going to be sitting down to a nice meal of roasted melon...

did you use a fork to shred it so it looked like noodles? I've never baked it or even had it, but have heard good things.
I did. And it was... spaghetty-ish. Especially with a bunch of spaghetti sauce & parm on top! :)
Pumpkin didn't like it because it wasn't enough like noodles, but then she doesn't eat spaghetti with red sauce anyway - just pesto - so the taste difference would be more noticeable. Penguin was keen, however.
