HELP! with Thanksgiving sides...

I have been instructed to bring a side for Thanksgiving. (easy, I thought, that's November's theme!) But all of this is already being brought/made by someone else:
potatoes
sweet potatoes
creamed corn
green bean casserole
stuffing
pies
cranberry jello thing
rolls
pickles/relish tray

(my mom is totally greedy and is bringing 2 of the above but whatever)
What the heck is left???
Do you think that cream cheese wantons would go over well? ;)
Ideas? Suggestions?

Um, looking through my recipe cards, I'm wondering, Cider-Glazed Carrots (sure, another veg, but hey, a different veg!), seven-layer salad (v trad), Saffron's famous sausage-stuffed mushrooms, a rice pilaf of some kind, maybe some other kind of snacky appetizer thing?

If it was my family you could crush with shrimp cocktail. Two sauces one with more horseraish the other more tame. I think I was the only one in the family that didn't like it... wait one of my cousins is deathly allergic to shellfish, he like it less:)

Also, cream cheese wontons ALWAYS go over well!

(Yeah, Shonuff, speaking of people deathly allergic to shellfish... don't think AKJ's going to be bringing THAT one! But a good idea otherwise.)

You need some type of lettuce salad for the stomach. I will try and post a few later.

There is always Steve's corn surprise, which is different than creamed corn. He also makes something called "Company Carrots" - which for me is divine. It's cream cheese, sour cream and carrots. I think...I forget I'm eating a vegetable!

Soup? I am making this for a cooking club tomorrow. It was easy so far as I have the soup done. Butternut Squash-Tangerine Soup with pistachio gremolata -
