We already ate up most of the peas (Yum! We all loved 'em. Pumpkin
kept asking for more.) and we're definitely going to do the bok choi just like last week 'cuz it was so good. As you can see, we got strawberries this week! Penguin was reaching for them and making "gimme"-type noises as soon as she saw 'em in the box.
On another note, their newsletter said that normally we'd have kohlrabi by this week, which leads me to expect some next week. I have no idea what to do with kohlrabi. None. At all. So if you've got any tips or hints, I'd love to hear them!

Yay CSAs! Strawberries!
This is making me think I need more strawberry plants. Hmmm. *plots*
I have no idea what to do with kohlrabi either, I'm afraid. I want to say bake it into an au gratin, but I think that's just because the bulb shape reminds me of fennel, and fennel gratins are yummy. (Besides, "cook it with cheese!" is almost always going to be my first answer.) Let us know what you come up with though!
I also have no idea. My dad used to eat them raw. But, he always was a bit odd.
Kholrabi is good as a crunchy raw veggie. Peal and eat. Kind of spicy, it is in the same general family as cabbage, and KALE!
We grew it all the time and I loved it. Smaller is more tender, larger need more pealing and can get kind of woody.

Thanks, y'all!
