I guess I like floofy drinks best- because that would cover margaritas, but I prefer them on the rocks, not blended. But I also like simple mixers (rum& coke, gin& tonic, etc) Anyway, we have three kinds of vodka right now, regular, orange and vanilla.
Wine with dinner A good beer or three after a long day Scotch with a single ice cube in the evening, with a good book and cozy blanket Gin & tonic after a sweaty day in the yard Homebrew cider when you want just one Creamy mixers (bulldogs, iron butterflies) at parties Goldschlager in hot cider when the leaves turn Froofy mixers with the girls. Mai tai baby!
In short, I couldn't possibly choose.
As for the three liquors, how about Highland, Lowland and Islay scotch?
Oh man, Pusher, that's the BEST answer! (Well, except for the g&t... just not a fan of those.) I'd add a nice margarita with chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant to your wonderful list. (I love Scotch with a tiny splashlette of water and a single ice cube, myself.)
Well, I concur with Pusher EXCEPT for the scotch/whiskey area. Don't like it. However, I am a vodka snob. Does that make up the difference? I always associate hot weather with gin & tonics ever since that day of riding around a dry, dusty riverbed in Africa for hours on end and getting a gin & tonic at night.
After work I like a beer or a vokda martini. Depends on what kind of day it was. =)
I tend to like drinks limited to one or two liquors, so, if I have to list one with 3 that I have on hand right now: Vodka, Kaluha and Irish Cream for Iron Butterfly makings.

We've got
Balvenie Doublewood Scotch, The
Bowmore Scotch, and
Brandy (E&J).
Hmmm... maybe I should add in a simple mixers choice to the poll 'cuz that's a good point, AKJ.
Oh, except I can't since it's had at least one vote... Well, folks'll just have to leave a comment, too, then. Sorry, simple mixer folks!
My favorite sort of alcoholic beverage is
Wine with dinner
A good beer or three after a long day
Scotch with a single ice cube in the evening, with a good book and cozy blanket
Gin & tonic after a sweaty day in the yard
Homebrew cider when you want just one
Creamy mixers (bulldogs, iron butterflies) at parties
Goldschlager in hot cider when the leaves turn
Froofy mixers with the girls. Mai tai baby!
In short, I couldn't possibly choose.

Beer, St. Maarten's liquer, and amaretto.
I love a Jack and Coke, a hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps, amaretto with soda and lemon, mojitos, and mint juleps.
If it has mint, I'm in.
Mmm.. I love amaretto! Why don't I have any in my cupboard? Must fix that.
I also love and concur with Pusher's answer!
Only 3?
