It's raining outside. Looks to be one of those all-day soaking type rains. Which is great - I think we're still behind from the summer.
Days like today make me crave homemade chicken noodle soup (with homemade noodles) and/or basic grilled cheese sandwiches. Yum. I think I just figured out what I'll be making for supper tonight!
How about you? Any particular foods you find yourself wanting on dark and rainy days?

Well If I am going to even want soup, it's probably going to be on a rainy day :) We had all day rain here too and soup for dinner! (Chicken Wild Rice).
When I was but a wee lad (yes, even Big Daddy was once wee), I would "help" my mom make molasses cookies on rainy days when I couldn't go out and play. Mmmmmmm....loved those!! :)
Stew, Chicken Wild Rice soup, homemade bread. And homemade cookies.
Tuna Noodle Hotdish. But, then again, there are very few days I don't want Tuna Noodle Hotdish
