* Everybody got the non-starred veggies, then the newsletter lists "2 other crops will also be in your box." So, we got peas & kohlrabi.
** Both the honey (delicious!) and the portabella mushrooms (this was only 1 from the bag) were purchased as separate shares. Honey comes monthly & mushrooms (reg OR portabella) are every other week.

Have you found your share to be smaller this year due to the dry weather? Has your farm talked about it in the newsletter at all? Are you even as dry there as we are here?
I know one person who signed up for a CSA and it was either canceled, or they let them know that the share was going to be very light. :(
Yes, definitely. And yes, they definitely have addressed it a few times in the newsletter - both the rain and some unusual cold spells earlier. I haven't done it myself, (too depressing!), but I bet if you go back and compare last year's week 6 & 7 to this year's, you'd see a big difference.
