So, it may be 9 pm, but it's still Wednesday, so here's your belated Wednesday Fun.
(Which, you know, may have been inspired by our quick, easy-easy supper, along with my realization that "Oh gosh! It's Wednesday!"...)
The huge wall of choices is rather overwhelming after having only like 3 varieties from which to pick in Blarney and I want to hear from you all what's good. So...
What kind of canned/jarred spaghetti sauce do you prefer?

We switch it up, but I like Newmans, Bertolli (sp?) and Prego. And if I am at the fancy grocery store, I try to get the ones from local restaurants or the fancy grocery store brand.
I buy Classico or Barilla (which I think what AKJ meant). But I did find that buying tomato sauce, adding spices, and simmering for an hour or so and freezing it in Ball freezer jars. I like that thawing one jar is just about perfect for us and the rest doesn't go bad.
I so rarely buy sauce in the jar, I'm afraid I can't help you. But I do always lean toward Newman's Own when I don't have a brand favorite for something — haven't been disappointed yet.
My problem with Newman's Own as that it's one of the only ones with hydrogenated oils in them.
Paul, why have you failed me?
I almost never buy the stuff, but if I do I go with Barilla. Try the mushroom garlic one sometime. Huge chunks of mushroom. Yummy.
I like Newman's, or Bertolli.
