I mean, I like my knives, and our French press, and our new safety can opener, and, and, and... but I think for sheer usability, I have to pick our (wedding present, so bonus sentimentality points) All-Clad Dutch oven. I use it ALL THE TIME for pasta, soup, stir-fry, whole chicken on the stove... everything! And while I find All-Clad's usual long handles difficult to hold and pour with, this has two small ones instead, so much better.Ms. Huis Herselfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10965333243525156916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7224981364890655264.post-46064901155059017152007-10-19T11:16:00.000-05:002007-10-19T11:16:00.000-05:00I can't decide. The first time I used the dough hook on my KitchenAid stand mixer, I nearly wept for joy. I love the beautiful maple cutting board we got from Puck's dad: it's a work of art, but that hasn't stopped us from using it. I adore my spaetzle maker (ohh, must make spaetzle soon...). I can't do it.Pusherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12246022132637093889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7224981364890655264.post-87305916786256812532007-10-18T15:27:00.000-05:002007-10-18T15:27:00.000-05:00My knives. My pepper grinder. It's batter operated, has a light to see where the pepper's going, one handed use. I use that thing everyday. The Sexy Blondehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02026654083359695796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7224981364890655264.post-42951076716158905442007-10-17T08:02:00.000-05:002007-10-17T08:02:00.000-05:00Its a toss up between my antique cast iron and my ...Its a toss up between my antique cast iron and my KitchenAid stand mixer. You can cook anything in cast iron, especially since the stuff thats been seasoned for 30+ years. Ajd disagrees, but he doesn't cook much, so who cares. On the other hand, I've always wanted a big stand mixer, the kind you can make bread with. I don't use it as often as I thought I would, but it will last forever, so who cares. Next, I want a really good food processor.Happy Veggiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06810836674003319464noreply@blogger.com
